About Andrew T. Young BA(Hons), MA

The founder of PrehistoricTechnology.com. Andrew is an archaeologist with an MA in experimental archaeology, currently in the third year of his Associated Humanities Research Council funded PhD (Oct 2009).

He uses authentic methods and materials to produce replicas of prehistoric stone tools and bronze implements. His work is displayed in several museums in Britain and he teaches post-graduate students stone-working and bronze-smithing at the University of Exeter. His work has also featured on BBC television and he demonstrates prehistoric technologies to the public at various archaeological centres throughout Britain.
